Disclosure Policy

Meridian Capital Group, Meridian Services (the company) is a privately held investment firm and the investment arm of Corvus Web services.  The firm primarily focuses on attaining capital appreciation through strategic investments in various public and private companies.

We are not a public-facing investment firm and do not hold ourselves out as such. That being said, we, through researched reports, blog posts, and articles, from time to time, share our opinions about the various companies we own. We have dedicated ourselves to only publishing these types of material in connection with firms in which we hold long positions.

We feel that it is important for any reader of our literature to know exactly where we are coming from. For this reason, and other equally important ones, we have developed a company-wide disclosure policy to help set the tone for our organization and communications.

We are not a registered investment firm

As stated above, Meridian Capital Group is a private company. We are not a registered investment advisory firm and do not hold ourselves out as one. We do not represent the interest of any retail or institutional investors. We exist for the sole purpose of making prudent investments in companies for the benefit of the shareholders of our parent company, Corvus web services

  • When "We" write about a company/stock that we have a long-term position in, which is almost always, that fact is disclosed at the end of the article.

  • We may sometimes exit a position or take on more of any particular position before or after writing about said company.

  • Affiliates of our company, if they ever put out any research or write about any particular company that they have individually invested in will clearly disclose that fact within the body of said research material or article.

Business partners and vendors

Over the years, and as a consequence of being part of a larger organization that does business in many verticals, we may sometimes write about a company or companies with whom we may have an existing business relationship. We may also write favorably about an industry we happen to operate in.

Rest assured that in such cases, when not disclosed, will not be for malicious reasons, but rather as a result of a set of unlikely/unforeseen circumstances.

In Conclusion

We have created our disclosure policy to serve our contractors, readers, and the general public fairly. As always, though, you should remember to consider every piece of investment information you receive, here on or elsewhere, not as a de facto recommendation, but as an idea for further consideration. Even the strongest disclosure policy in the world does not excuse individuals from taking responsibility for their own decisions.

It is super important that you engage in critical research of any investment opportunity you are considering and seek the advice of professional investment advisers before making any investment moves.
